WRCC program scheduling has potential opportunities for part-time schedules so that sending school students can return to their home schools at various times during the day. While on campus at WRCC, they are required to be fully scheduled. WRCC works with the host school, sending schools and institutions of higher learning to provide learning opportunities which meet graduation requirements and enhance students’ preparation for career, college and responsible citizenship. Students need to work with their home school counselors to plan a schedule which meets their individual needs.
The school day is divided into four blocks of about 85 minutes. A lunch period of about 30 minutes is incorporated into block 3. The chart below can be used to figure out how your WRCC courses will fit with other courses you plan to take.
Courses may be scheduled as:
- One semester for one or two blocks
- Full year for one or two blocks
Please note: The schedule is created based on student demand. In most cases, it is not possible to know which block or semester a class will take place. When requesting classes, students should only be concerned with creating a full schedule for the year.
