Career Center Philosophy

The Windham Regional Career Center offers career and technical training that embraces a rigorous and relevant academic program.

The central purpose of the WRCC is to provide learning experiences that ensure graduates have the skills, knowledge and competency to successfully participate in the global workforce. We promote the right of all learners to a free and accessible public education which is fundamental to a democratic society.

We develop life long learners capable of productive advocacy of their rights as workers, who recognize their responsibilities as employees, and who are engaged in their economic, civic, and career development.

We appreciate that students differ in level of ability, rate of learning, interest, and motivation and agree that all students can achieve. We embrace the challenge of providing diversified and state of the art programs to ensure our students emerge from the educational process as skilled workers, competent technicians, and responsible citizens. Our curriculum and student activity reflect our commitment to academic and technical excellence.
