Overview:

This introductory course will give students a thorough background in basic accounting procedures used in business while teaching students the essential language of business. The curriculum guides the student through the eight components of the accounting cycle for a sole proprietorship, then moves into applying and adding the new concepts for a merchandising business. The accounting procedures presented will serve as a background for either employment or post-secondary studies in a variety of majors. Access to the internet is required to complete class assignments. *This course meets requirements for HIGH SCHOOL MATH credit. Access to the internet is required in order to complete in-class and at-home assignments. This course offers optional college credit.

Open to grades 10-12
This course meets requirements for high school math credit. This course may also be offered for optional college credit.
