Overview:

This course is ideal for students planning to enter the trades (construction, automotive and agriculture). It is designed to give students a broad understanding of electricity, electronics and electronic systems. Topics will include: Ohms Law, AC and DC electronics, circuit building and troubleshooting, semiconductors, power generation, residential wiring, computer operation, and soldering techniques. The theory presented during the course will be reinforced through lab experiements and projects.

Open to grades 10 - 12 (and 9th grade STEM academy students)
This course may also be offered for optional college credt; see pages 10 & 11.
