Overview:

In this program, students will explore the different aspects of landscape design, construction and maintenance of residential and commercial properties. Through related academic studies and hands-on activities, students will learn site analysis, how to create a landscape design, how to install different types of landscape materials (including stone work and plant materials), and how to maintain these landscapes. Equipment students will use includes a skid steer, mowers, weed trimmers, backpack blowers, chain saws, and more. Off-site activities include landscape projects in the community. Participation of FFA is strongly encouraged.
