Three programs from the Windham Regional Career Center traveled to New Boston, NH to attend the New Hampshire Construction Career Days in New Boston, NH.  In its tenth year, there were over seventy-five exhibitors from technical schools, public and private industry and building contractors.  There were over 2,000 students that attended.  This event promotes career awareness in the construction and transportation industries through hands-on experience with heavy equipment, welding, small tools, plumbing, electrical wiring, surveying, wastewater management, bridge construction, land clearing, underground utilities, and other construction-related jobs.  Errold Nelson, WRCC Forestry instructor, stated that “The students really enjoy themselves every year.  They have a great time running equipment and talking to professionals in their field.”
