Credits: BUHS , Sending Schools
Duration: Full Year
The Carpentry & Architecture program prepares students for careers in construction-related fields by developing their skills in building construction and woodworking techniques. Through a combination of onsite projects and work in the community, students gain skills in all aspects of house construction, including installing roof, window, and doors, framing, constructing footings and foundations. Projects include blueprint creation and reading, estimating costs, creating material lists and work schedules, and completing tasks on time. Students in the Carpentry & Architecture program at the Windham Regional Career Center will graduate with the skills needed to enter into the workforce or pursue further education.
