Exploratory students will consider career options that connect with their interests. They will each have the opportunity to learn about and attend Career Center programs. Learning the fundamental skills involved in acquiring and successfully maintaining a job is vital for today’s job market. Through the exploration of multiple career pathways, students will engage in hands-on activities and projects in the classroom, in the shop, and while experiencing other Career Center classes. Students will be given the opportunity to earn a workplace readiness credential (IRC). This exploratory class will provide many means by which to learn the basic soft and hard skills needed to be successful in varied pathways.

A willingness and commitment to explore multiple CTE programs with an open mind. A clear understanding that the class will require reading, writing, technical education, and visits to other programs.
