After attending a class meeting as a sophomore at BUHS and hearing about the Windham Regional Career Center from a current student, Maya thought the career center might be the place for her. Having a prior interest in starting a diabetic bakery, she felt that the Business and Management program would help her to press toward this goal. Interaction with the other students in the class and learning from their various perspectives and interests has been “incredibly positive”. Added benefits of her time at the career center have been in the area of event planning and public speaking. Maya’s advise to anyone looking into the WRCC would be, “Just do it! It is a great environment with really good teachers”.
