Nathan
Lentz
Nathan first heard about WRCC while signing up for classes as a freshman, but had to wait until his sophomore year to enter the Auto program. Since then, he has built confidence with basic automotive skills such as oil changes, tires, and brakes, and he values learning in a live shop environment. Through WRCC, Nathan was connected with Fletcher’s Auto, where he now gains real-world experience in an independent auto shop. He says the workplace feels more serious than school because the work happens on business time, but it also challenges his skills and gives him opportunities to keep learning.
For Nathan, WRCC has helped turn his interest in cars into a real career pathway. Whether he continues in the automotive field or eventually combines that interest with military service, he feels the Career Center has helped give him “a jump” toward his future.
